Oliver Rupnow is the gentleman among our trainers. He is eloquent, charming, courteous and always ready with a (testing-related) anecdote, delivered in Westphalian dialect if thus requested by his audience. As Senior Managing Partner and Authorised Representative of trendig technology services GmbH, Oliver has been and remains involved in projects, workshops and training courses particularly focusing on the financial services industry (banks, insurance companies, investment companies). As a qualified banker and business administrator, Oliver has over 20 years of professional experience in process management, test management, project management and service IT management (ITIL), as well as in software quality assurance within small and major institutions and companies themselves, as well as in their projects. Oliver is also a certified scrum master, and supports customers on their individual journeys towards increasingly agile methods. Alongside customer support, his tasks at trendig also increasingly include the customisation of standardised training courses as in-house offerings.
As a teacher and coach, Oliver teaches the course content in a clear and structured manner. Participants appreciate his open, interactive approach, which encourages discussion and in which informality, fun and satisfaction during training are just as important as the acquisition of knowledge and passing the certification exam at the end of the course. This also absolutely includes Oliver’s “Schlicker-box”, a magic box for course participants hungry for nerve-soothing snacks. Oliver believes there is nothing that cannot be learned. And so many a nerve-racked participant has been able to put the practically applied knowledge to paper during their exam, thanks to Oliver’s calming, patient support.
